David Redrup is a director of a well-known family-run business, Grace’s Bakery. He works alongside his mother, father, brother, and sisters, and the bakery employs over 80 islanders. The bakery operates out of their bakehouse in an old mill on Ryde High Street, supplying wholesale customers and their five shops across the island.

David’s journey at the bakery began as a cleaner; he progressed through various roles, including confectioner and baker, before becoming the Sales Director.

David lives in Ryde with his wife and two boys and is passionate about his community. He sponsors local under-11s football teams and in the past has supported students as a Young Enterprise mentor. David is committed to helping Ryde achieve its potential as one of the UK’s most beloved seaside towns.
