Given the interest in Ryde Town Hall, the Ryde Neighbourhood Board would like to update the community following its meeting on Friday January 9.
At the meeting, the issue of Ryde Town Hall was discussed at some length, after which the following position was agreed.
“The board re-affirms its support for Ryde Town Hall being brought back into community use.
“It has now agreed, as a matter of priority, to look at developing a formal grant application and approval process to encourage and determine bids, such as that relating to Ryde Town Hall, so these can be assessed fairly and transparently.”
